Kishor Kumar is a highly experienced lead SDET with over 11 years of experience in building Test Automation frameworks for Web, APIs, Desktop and Data applications primarily in the finance domain. He is currently leading software quality assurance at Grip as AVP-QA. Kishor is passionate about learning new tools and technologies and is always on the lookout for challenging career opportunities that help him grow further as a professional and individual. He has a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products, and his expertise in QA, SDET, and testing has made him a valuable asset to any organization he has worked with. Kishor has worked with several leading companies in the past, including Monotype and Fidelity, where he served as a Lead SDET. At Fidelity, he was responsible for quality assurance for a web-based reporting platform based on microservices architecture. He also developed a test automation framework for UI using Selenium, Cucumber, Java, and Maven. Additionally, he implemented automated API tests for the business layer using RestAssured, Java, and Spring. Kishor also developed a python-based data tester to automate ETL testing and worked closely with the dev team and product manager to discuss requirements and provide early feedback. Kishor holds a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Sri Venkateswara College. His technical skills include QA, SDET, testing, Web, Java, Selenium, product management, Spring, Microservices, ETL, UI, and Python.
