Dr. Kishora Shetty is an accomplished Engineering Lead with 23 years of experience in Aerospace Materials & Components, Manufacturing, Capability Development, Start-up, Plant Operations, Airworthiness Certification, Heat Treatment, Components Testing and Materials Selection, Suppliers and External Laboratories Development, Suppliers Approval, Materials Testing, NDT, and more. She is currently working at Boeing as the Engineering Lead - Manufacturing Technology Integration, responsible for Technology Development, Innovation, Strategy to Action, Suppliers Approval, Qualification, Suppliers Recovery, Production Support, Testing, NPD, Reliability, Design Support, Value Engineering, and more. Dr. Shetty holds a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering from NIT Surathkal, a Master's degree in Materials Engineering and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Composites from IISc, and a Doctorate in Management Studies from Zenith Institute of Business Management, Mumbai. She is a First Rank holder in both B.E and M.S. and a recipient of the National Science Day Award in 2004 for the invention of new Shape Memory Stainless Steel. Dr. Shetty has worked with top companies in the Aerospace industry, including Rolls-Royce and Airbus, where she held the positions of Tech Lead and Staff Materials Engineer and Senior Lead Engineer - Airframe (Materials, Processes & Tests) and EHS Specialist, respectively.
