Komal Kushwaha is a Lead Product Engineer at udaan.com with over 6 years of relevant experience in software engineering, product management, and infrastructure. She is responsible for leading a team of 10+ engineers and designers and driving the adoption of a proprietary vendor portal to enhance the overall vendor ecosystem experience of udaan. Komal has a strong background in developing and launching core workflows for vendor lifecycle and transaction management, including purchase management, inventory and pricing, accounting and payments, and returns and disputes. She has also bootstrapped the vendor ecosystem for sourcing and procurement infrastructure. As a Senior Product Engineer at udaan, she led a team of 6+ engineers and designers and designed, developed, and launched major capabilities for the platform. As one of the early members of the technology and product group at udaan, Komal conceptualized, developed, and launched cart and checkout experience for "non-tech savvy" retailers/kiranas. She also played a key role in defining the returns experience for businesses in the e-commerce ecosystem and developed and launched the returns and grievances experience for Indian retailers. Komal holds a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) degree from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) (Hons.) degree in Computer Science from Banaras Hindu University. She also completed her schooling from SOS Herman Gmeiner School Varanasi, U.P. Komal's tech stack includes AWS, Kubernetes, Azure, Python, Django, ReactJS, Kotlin, React Native, and more.
