Kony Pham is a fullstack software engineer currently working at Google. With 6.45 years of relevant experience, Kony is a jack of many trades pursuing mastery of all things delightful. He has experience in scaling an e-commerce backend and building responsive and accessible React UI. He is currently learning to make games with Unity. In his toolbox, Kony has expertise in Front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS, React, Angular, jQuery, and Redux. He is also proficient in Back-end technologies such as Ruby/Rails, Node, SQL, NoSQL, AWS, and Terraform. Kony has worked with Saas solutions such as Shopify, Logicbroker, Datadog, Stripe, Algolia, Contentful, Zendesk, Avo, TurnTo, and SmartyStreets. Kony previously worked as a Software Engineer at Babylist, a parenting platform hosting universal baby registries, e-commerce storefront, and expert parenting content. During his tenure, Kony collaborated with business stakeholders and data teams to implement modern e-commerce features such as product recommendation, user review syndication, deferred payment, crowdfunding, and address validation. He also designed and built a suite of product catalog management tools to validate, stage, and deploy catalog changes to the Babylist storefront and external services, shortening the update lifecycle from hours to minutes and eliminating developer intervention. Additionally, Kony created daily cron jobs generating reports to optimize warehouse/admin processes and catch errors within e-commerce operations. Kony has also worked on a Full Stack Project at etsetera, where he designed and built a web app that streamlines the creation of Etsy product listings for multiple product variants. Users can create a new product template from scratch or import any existing Etsy products, then use the template to build and upload variations of the master product to their Etsy store. Kony holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Anthropology from the University of Notre Dame, a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Baylor University, and an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive degree from Hack Reactor.
