Koshin Ono is a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon, with a passion for problem-solving and team collaboration. He is a highly adaptable individual who is fluent in three languages, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and English, and has traveled to over 15 countries. Koshin's ability to interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds makes him an excellent team player who can keep everyone's eyes on the positive and seek a way to break through any wall. Koshin is tech-savvy and believes that technology has brought people closer, regardless of where they live. He has experience in software engineering, mobile development, Kubernetes, Docker, Elastic Search, and web development. Koshin has worked at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer and is currently working as a Software Development Engineer II. He has also worked at T-Mobile as a Software Development Engineer, where he developed a web-application to automate mobile app label management, increased work efficiency by creating an API to retrieve data from over 80,000 T-Mobile store devices, and applied Single Sign-on (SSO) to an application by implementing jwt token retrieval and validation. He also containerized applications and APIs using Docker yml files and deployed them to Kubernetes. Koshin holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Seattle University, a Graduate Certificate in Computer Science Fundamentals from Seattle University, a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and International Studies Major & Business Administration Minor from McDaniel College, and an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in International Relations and Affairs from Peninsula College. During his spare time, Koshin loves taking advantage of Seattle's mild summer weather to run outside and exercise with his friends. When it gets cold, he loves going snowboarding. His current goal is to participate in Spartan Race Seattle (Obstacle Race) in October. Koshin is a driven individual who is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow.
