Kostub D. is a highly experienced and hands-on engineering leader with over 15 years of experience in the software industry. He has a proven track record of building high-performance teams from scratch that deliver results and develop scalable solutions. Kostub has a strong technical background and is an expert in several domains, including SaaS, EdTech, Databases, Advertising, and E-commerce, with a focus on building systems to scale. Kostub has extensive experience in setting up an India development center and managing all operations as the site lead. He is a technical architect with expertise in distributed systems, scalability, service-oriented architecture, databases, machine learning, Python, Golang, iOS development, BigQuery, Postgres, C++, Java, Hadoop, and ETL pipelines. Currently, Kostub is the VP of Engineering at WorkSpan, an Ecosystem Business Management Platform for managing company's Ecosystem partner programs. In this role, he manages all functions of engineering and leads a team of 40+ engineers and managers across India and Europe. Prior to his current role, Kostub worked as the Sr Director of Engineering and Head of India Operations at WorkSpan, where he built the India engineering team of 25+ engineers from scratch and set up the India office, managing all aspects of India operations as the site lead. He also worked as a Principal Engineer at WorkSpan. Kostub holds a BTech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Washington. He has a relevant experience of 18.61 years and is proficient in several technologies, including Senior Software Engineering, iOS, ML, Hadoop, ETL, Postgres, Python, Golang, and Java.
