Koushik Roy is an experienced IT professional with over 12 years of experience in mainframe application development and operations under DevOps model using Agile methodology. He is a certified SAFe Practitioner and DB2 10.1 Associate. Koushik has sound knowledge in DB2 database, COBOL, IMS, JCL, VSAM, sort, TSO, ISPF, Fileaid, module testing, CONTROL-M scheduling, CA7 scheduling, Agile development, monitoring production batch, QMF, Spufi, project management, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Koushik has extensive experience in production support team management, issue identification, root cause analysis, workaround and permanent resolution, incident management, and problem management. He has also worked on requirement analysis, creating user stories, and implementing design changes. Koushik has experience working in agile methodology with SAFe practitioner certification. Currently, Koushik works as a Consultant at Atos Syntel (client American Express), where he is responsible for design, development, modification, testing, and implementation of code as per requirement. He coordinates and works with offshore teams to explain project requirements and get the deliverables on a timely manner. Koushik is also responsible for daily production monitoring, reporting, level-2/3 production support, incident management, root cause analysis, problem management, and coordinating and conducting annual disaster recovery exercises. In his past roles at Atos Syntel (client American Express), Koushik worked as a Project Lead and Senior Analyst Programmer.
