About
Krishna Chaitanya is an experienced Software Engineer currently working as a Werk Student at Continental AG. He has a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry with strong skills in IBM Rational Rhapsody, Microsoft Word, On-board Diagnostics, TPT, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Krishna is a strong engineering professional with a German A1 focused in German Language and Literature from Goethe Institut Indien. Krishna has worked as a Masters Student at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt and as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Bosch. During his time at both companies, he developed Bosch specific on-board Diagnostics modules using AUTOSAR Diagnostics Communication Manager (DCM) and AUTOSAR Diagnostics Event Manager (DEM) specification. These modules had features such as continuous monitoring of power train systems and detection of faults, alerting the driver for engine critical faults using malfunction indicator lamps in the dashboard, and storage of faults in the form of Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in Fault memory which has the information of root cause of the fault. Krishna also developed Tester services which are used by after-market vehicle service professionals to diagnose with the help of DTCs and fix the root cause at least possible time. During the development of these projects, Krishna performed requirement analysis from different customers using IBM Doors and analyzed the impact of functional requirements on system level. He also designed the powertrain diagnostics module using Rhapsody and MATLAB simulation tools and developed software using C and Embedded C for different malfunction indicator lamps based on the priority and criticality of engine failure scenarios. Krishna tested the developed software using Hardware in Loop testing by flashing the software on actual ECU assembled in car setup using INCA tool. He also tested independent units using Software in loop testing by creating the simulation environment in PC using tools like TPT (Time Partitioning testing) and Simulink. Krishna's educational background includes a Master of Engineering - MEng in International Automotive engineering from Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, and additional courses in English and German language and literature. Krishna has relevant experience of 2.44 years and possesses a strong tech stack as a Software Engineer.
