Krishna Gogineni is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Observe.AI with over 7 years of relevant experience in the field of ML and AI. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Krishna has a background in both machine learning (Speech, NLP) and platform engineering (backend, data-eng, devops), which makes him an expert in translating state-of-art ML research into scalable, efficient, robust, and extensible production-grade systems. He is known for being "technically fearless" and can take on any challenge thrown his way, leading his team to success. At Observe.AI, Krishna is responsible for the ML Platform KPIs, including scalability, stability, cost, security, and dev-efficiency. He is also the Tech Lead for the ML&Data Platform team and is responsible for the efficient translation of ML research into production. Additionally, he manages infra costs monitoring and management across the company and shapes, designs, and project manages the delivery of the above responsibilities. Krishna has previously held roles at Observe.AI as Lead Machine Learning Engineer and Sr. Machine Learning Engineer. In these roles, he spearheaded many critical and time-bound projects and built a state-of-art audio-segmentation system that identifies speech, silence, hold-music, background-noise, background-speech, etc., in call-center calls. He also installed multiple MLops tools like MlFlow, internal-jupyter-server, internal pypi, etc., migrated all ML models in production to AWS Sagemaker and developed an ML interview platform that was used for hundreds of interviews. Krishna's tech stack includes ML, AI, Research Scientist, Senior Software Engineer, NLP, DevOps, Backend, and infra.
