Krishna Hegde is a Co-Founder at PYOR, a company that aims to establish a source of truth and provide key insights on Web3 via a subscription-based analytics tool. He is also responsible for building a standard definitions layer, which will help speed up institutional adoption of crypto. With over 20 years of global professional experience spanning India, South East Asia, US & Europe, Krishna has held various roles over the last 6 years, including building and growing Product, Technology, Business Development & Finance teams with full P&L accountability. His team sizes have ranged from 5 to 100 people with businesses ranging from pre-revenue to $750+ million top line. Krishna has an orthogonal set of experiences spanning large multinationals to small startups - from financial services to fintech to traditional industry (FMCG & commodities) - with different ownership structures (family-owned, VC & listed) that have given him a breadth of experience, a web of deep relationships & a set of transferable frameworks that he is now leveraging as a founder. Most recently, Krishna was responsible for New Initiatives at Coinswitch and was previously the Head of Strategy at Setu, where he brought industry-first products to market (Eg. Fixed Deposits on API) & built corporate functions like finance. Before that, he was the Head of Consumer businesses at MMTC-PAMP, India's leading precious metals company. In 6 months time, he turned around MMTC-PAMP Consumer group (top line $750+ million with physical stores in 10+ cities) and beat a stretch 12m PBT target. Krishna has also worked as the Managing Director & Head of Asia credit research at Barclays based in Singapore. He was promoted from a newly hired Associate to Managing Director in under 8 years. He is a seed-stage investor in multiple Bangalore-based companies and an investor in Indian public equity markets for over 30 years. With an auditable record of beating NIFTY 500 TRI over the last 6 years, Krishna has moved from connecting the dots to creating the dots. Krishna holds a B.E (Hons) in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, an MBA from Dartmouth College - The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and a Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Public Policy from the Takshashila Institution. He is currently hiring designers, full-stack
