Krishna Karnani is a Sub-Project Manager with over 6.5 years of experience in HVDC technology and equipment engineering. He is currently working at Siemens Energy and has executed HVDC projects for both domestic and international clients from India and Germany. Krishna is a strong engineering professional with a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Krishna's expertise lies in HVDC transformer and AC/DC high voltage switchyard equipment. He has hands-on experience in executing HVDC projects and has worked on various aspects of the project from design to implementation. In addition to HVDC technologies and its equipment, Krishna is also interested in the application of power electronics in the field of renewable energy and markets, FACTS, and design and control of power electronic converters. Krishna's educational background includes a Master of Technology in Power Electronics and Power Systems from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi. He also holds a Senior Secondary Education degree from Central Academy, Kota, and a Till Secondary Education degree from Bikaner Boys School, Bikaner. Krishna's previous work experience includes working as an Equipment Engineer and Student Intern at Siemens, where he worked on the project titled "Typical Protection SLD and Illumination & Energy calculations for a Steel Plant." This project involved studying the working of a steel plant and calculating energy consumption and designing a protection circuit for a typical plant. Krishna's technical skills include test, and his relevant experience is 6.62 years.
