Krishnan Venkataraman is a Biomedical Master's student at Johns Hopkins with a focus on Computational Medicine, Biomedical Data Science, and Medical Imaging. He is a talented Medical Algorithms developer and Research and Development Engineer with over five years of relevant experience. Krishnan is currently a Senior Software Engineer for Healthcare Product Development at Bosch, where he has developed AI algorithms and image analytics for digital reconstruction of microscopic images using GAN networks. He has also designed and implemented a full flow device algorithm framework with architectures of design patterns for flow optimization, as well as developed automated codes and tools for blood and tissue smear-based algorithm development. Krishnan has extensive experience in quality, threat, and security, including threat and risk analysis, FMEA, and product quality and standards meetings. He has implemented security algorithms for imaging devices and developed end-of-line software for testing product functionality, reliability, and quality. Krishnan also has primitive knowledge of Yocto OS development. Krishnan's past experience includes working as an Associate Software Engineer in Healthcare and as a Product Engineering Intern at Bosch. At Bosch, he developed image focusing and acquisition algorithms for automated microscopic systems and worked on image enhancement and segmentation algorithms for blood smears and pap smears. Krishnan has also gained experience in mathematical modeling, advanced preprocessing, standardization, and segmentation methodologies implementation for microscopic imaging devices. Krishnan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from PSG College of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in the same field from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering. He has a strong technical skill set that includes software engineering, data science, UI development, GAN, OpenCV, Java, deep learning, and ML. Krishnan is a skilled Research Scientist with a strong background in backend development.
