Kshitij Kumar Singh is a final year dual degree student at IIT Kharagpur with a passion for developing intelligent applications to automate and solve important problems. He has internship experience in Software Engineering and Virtual Reality and loves to learn new technologies. Kshitij is interested in the field of Software Engineering for applications in varied domains such as AI, VR, and IoT systems. With a good understanding of Probability and Statistics, Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, Data Structures, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Kshitij possesses familiarity with various Machine Learning algorithms and Neural Networks (CNNs, RNNs, sequence models) for varied applications. He has good programming skills in Python, C++, C#, and JavaScript, and is familiar with python libraries and frameworks including Keras, Tensorflow, Pytorch, scikit-learn, among various others. Kshitij is also well-versed with knowledge of databases (MySQL and MongoDB). Currently working as a Software Engineer Intern at Honeywell, Kshitij has worked on Process Safety Analyzer, an enterprise offering by Honeywell's Connected Plant division of their Connected Enterprise business. The project involved containerization and cloud-native deployment of PSA, existing PSA is monolithic and deployed in a Windows VM. Kshitij identified some modules written in .Net Framework, ported into .Net Core, containerized and deployed the APIs into Docker containers. In his past internship experience at Holosuit Pte Ltd, Kshitij worked on various activities as a part of HoloSuit, including the Hydraulic Pump Assembly in VR using HoloSuit for factory training. The application was presented to BharatForge as POC. He also worked on Unity UI and database layer backend for a rehab application. The complete app with other features was shown to the clients as POC. Kshitij's education history includes a Dual Degree (B. Tech + M. Tech) Major in Industrial and Systems Engineering, and a Minor B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, both from IIT Kharagpur. With a relevant experience of 2.77 years, Kshitij's tech stack includes Software Engineering, AI, Python, Keras, Scikit, Docker, Javascript, ML, Tensorflow, Neural Networks, MySQL, MongoDB, Pytorch, UI, and Backend.
