Kshitij Singh is a highly motivated Graduate Tech Analyst at Barclays with a passion for developing intelligent solutions to automate and solve problems. He has 1.68 years of experience in the technology industry and is skilled in AWS, Software Engineering, SRE, DevOps, Integration, infra, Python, Spring Boot, Spring, ECS, AWS Glue, Java, test, ETL, and Docker. Kshitij is a Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) graduate from the prestigious IIT Kharagpur, majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a minor in Computer Science and Engineering. He has a strong academic background and has excelled in his studies. Currently, Kshitij is working as a Software Engineer at Barclays in the Channels - FullServe Release team, where he is responsible for building applications for the bank's colleagues to serve customers at retail branches. He is currently working on a project to port an application written in core Java and JSP to a Spring Boot MVC application end to end. In his previous role as a DevOps Engineer at Barclays, Kshitij was involved in the Next Generation Consumer Banking - Service Integration Layer programme. He performed Site Reliability Operations, including deployments for production and lower environments, monitoring application and infrastructure health. He also developed utilities (shell and python scripts), applications for AWS environment, and automation pipelines. Some of his major work included designing and developing an AWS cloud-native solution for alerting in case of application and infrastructure errors by raising incidents (via Netcool and Service First on-premise) and OpsItems in AWS OpsCenter. Kshitij has also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Honeywell, where he worked on Process Safety Analyzer, an enterprise offering by Honeywell's Connected Plant division of their Connected Enterprise business. He identified some modules written in .Net Framework, ported them into .Net Core, containerized and deployed the APIs into Docker containers.
