Kshitiz Anand is a Design Leader and Educator with over 14 years of experience in setting up and leading Design Teams across industry and academia. He firmly believes in applying the principles of Design Thinking to Problem Solving, Product Management, Design Consulting, Entrepreneurship, and Design Leadership. Kshitiz is currently the Co-Founder & Design Advisor at Karekeba Ventures, where he continues to use his expertise in leadership, product management, design strategy, and user experience design to drive innovation and growth. Kshitiz is also the Chairman of Happy Horizons Trust, where he uses the power of design, technology, creativity, and enhanced pedagogical methods to improve the quality of education in schools. He has also helped in setting up a Design college in India and was instrumental in leading the Social Innovations program for a French Design School in India, producing award-winning designers. His interest in Education systems, Design for Social Change, and Social Entrepreneurship have led him to share his thoughts on innovation in education across different platforms. Kshitiz is a regular speaker at conferences and has been recognized with several awards such as the Young Entrepreneur Award by Bihar Government in 2017 and the IIT Guwahati Alumni Excellence award in 2014. Kshitiz's past experiences include working as the Associate Vice President - Design at Paytm, where he was responsible for UX and Product Design for Financial Inclusion and Design for the Next Billion Users. He also headed Design for Paytm for Business & Merchant Eco-system and Design Operations. Kshitiz also worked as the Assistant Vice President - UX Head at 1mg, where he headed the User Experience across different products and services platforms. He was responsible for talent hiring and training to build cross-functional teams, working closely with Product Leaders to drive good Customer Experience Delivery, and defining Design Operations and Execution Strategies. Kshitiz holds an MS in Human Computer Interaction Design from Indiana University and a B Des in Communication Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. His tech stack includes Java, Android, product management, and product design. Kshitiz's expertise in leadership, product management, design strategy, and user experience design makes him an asset to any organization looking to drive innovation and growth.
