Kulbhushan Rana is a highly experienced technology leader with over 10 years of experience in senior management and technical roles within the telecom domain. As the VP of Solutions at Whatfix, he is responsible for enabling the digital transformation of network service providers by delivering cloud-ready network management software platforms targeted at both on-premise and cloud deployments. Kulbhushan is a strong advocate for innovation, driving the adoption of new technologies such as model-driven orchestration, cloud-native distributed platforms, big data technologies, responsive, and progressive web applications to build platforms for network operation automation. He has extensive experience in building and leading cross-functional engineering teams across development, quality assurance, and support organizations. With a focus on results, Kulbhushan is a talented leader with the ability to build high-performance teams and develop, mentor, and enable talent. He has experience in defining and implementing R&D best practices to drive quality, productivity, and agility across R&D teams. Kulbhushan has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Huawei, where he led engineering efforts in LFN Networking Foundation opensource (ONAP, FD.io, PNDA). He was responsible for building platforms for network management visualization, network analytics, network data collection, and data ingestion. Kulbhushan has a strong educational background, with a Master of Science in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore University. He is currently pursuing an EGMP from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, which he is expected to complete in 2022.
