Kumar Amit is a seasoned professional with over 9 years of experience in the CALYPSO TRADING Platform, currently working as a Senior Consultant at Publicis Sapient in Gurgaon. He has an in-depth understanding of the Calypso Application, including SSI setup, Static Data, Workflow, Scheduled Task, Engines, Trade Validation, and Accounting. Kumar has also worked on configuring the interface of Calypso with different Front offices like Murex, Summit, and Kondor. His expertise extends to SWIFT Payment and confirmations, Different MT Series SWIFT messages Specifications, and settlements such as CLS and RTGS. Kumar has created various types of settlements instructions for clients and worked on End of the day/month reports such as PnL reports and Expected cash Flows. He has also configured the Dual Control/Four Eye Principle over Workflow to ensure the smooth run of the live Production platform. Kumar's professional journey began at Citi, where he worked as a Software Test Engineer. He liaised with business to understand and document their requirements and flows, collaborated with clients, designers, and developers to understand and document customer journeys, and groomed functional and technical stories. Kumar also acted as a single point of contact for any requirement clarifications and direction of product development for the development team. He performed pre-UAT on stories before sending them to the client/business owner to get final acceptance of stories, triaged bugs with development and business teams, and worked closely with QA and development teams to conduct demos for clients. Kumar also created collaterals such as Scope Matrix, Authoring Guides, Testing Guides, and Product Release notes. Kumar holds a B.tech degree from Biju Patnaik University and completed his HSC and SSC from Devasthali Vidyapeeth. He is well-versed in test, Swift, SDET, QA, and SQL.
