Kumar Nitin is a highly skilled and experienced technologist with over 11 years of relevant experience in building highly-scalable applications. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at apostek, where he has developed an iOS app for Care.com. Kumar has previously worked at Hotstar and Goibibo, where he held the positions of Senior Engineer and Lead Engineer, respectively. At Goibibo, he was responsible for developing various products, including Autosuggest/Autocomplete, Goibibo NLP Engine, Hotel auto check-in, Goibibo Wallet, and Gocash Gift. He also led the iOS team from the front and was involved in the entire product development cycle, from requirement gathering to pushing the product to the App Store. At Hotstar, Kumar built a framework to send SMS/Call through multiple partners across multiple geographies and developed a solution to make phone number as a single source of truth for user identification. He also built a solution to restrict/allow content based on age/geography of the user and a SSO solution for third party authentication. Kumar holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University. He is proficient in a wide range of technologies, including Kafka, Java, MongoDB, Python, MySQL, iOS, NLP, Redis, CNN, OpenCV, Cassandra, Elastic Search, and Mobile.
