Kumar Sourav is a skilled Test Automation Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the field. He has worked with a wide range of tools and technologies, including Python, Java, ReadyAPI, QTP/UFT, Cucumber, RestAssured, Selenium, Puppeteer, VBA, OTA, AOM, and Docker. Kumar is always eager to learn new technologies, languages, and concepts and considers himself an explorer of the test automation world. Throughout his career, Kumar has worked with multiple organizations and handled many clients, adding value to their businesses. He has also managed small teams and looks for logical thinking and an open mind towards new technologies and ideas in his team members. Kumar is a speaker at TechBhubaneswar, one of the biggest tech conferences in eastern India. Currently, Kumar is working as a Senior Quality Engineer at q2. In the past, he has worked as a Lead Automation Engineer at firebucks, where he led an excellent team of API and UI automation test engineers. He has also worked as a Software Engineer - Level 2 at qube cinema, where he automated test cases from scratch using a custom framework in Python, added functionality to a new automation framework, maintained multiple automated regression tests, and mocked APIs to remove dependencies while running component-level tests.
