Kumaril Kapoor is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in the networking domain. As a Senior Director of Engineering at Cisco, he has led the development and delivery of networking software and hardware for Service Provider and Enterprise networks. Kumaril has a great ability to drive and lead organizations from a technical and outcome-oriented perspective. He is known for his can-do attitude and getting things done approach. Throughout his career, Kumaril has consistently led products from inception to deployment, with a focus on Access and Edge routing. He has also successfully led the Sonet to IP Migration for Transport customers, along with Service Provider insertion in Access and Pre-aggregation segments. Kumaril has a proven track record of leading teams on both development and test with agility and quality deliverables. In addition to his work at Cisco, Kumaril also set up the engineering team for Proxce Technologies, where he provided smart solutions for hospitality and manufacturing verticals by reducing the friction between physical and online worlds in just 18 months. Currently, Kumaril is leading the Enterprise Switching team in Cisco IBNG, where he is responsible for delivering products for enterprise and campus customers worldwide. He is driving engagements to deploy the IBNG solution for APJC and India customers. Kumaril holds a B.Tech degree in ECE from NIT Calicut and completed his 10+2 from DAV College Kangra, HP. He has a strong tech stack that includes experience as a Senior Software Engineer and is highly regarded for his 28.29 years of relevant experience.
