He is actively involved in hiring talented product and engineering professionals to join the team. Kun is also the Co-Founder of Crunchyroll, Inc., a company that brings content and communities closer together by building the best anime experiences for fans worldwide. Under his leadership, Crunchyroll became a global leader in anime content and lifestyle, with millions of paid subscribers and tens of millions of viewers worldwide. The company was acquired by AT&T/WarnerMedia in 2018. Kun's educational background includes a BS in Electrical Engineering Computer Science and Applied Math from the University of California, Berkeley, and a PhD Candidate in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in Big Data, ML, and Software Engineering.
