Kunal Dua is a Management Trainee at Genpact, with a background in finance, accounting, and operations. He has previously worked at Mercer and Accenture, where he gained experience in finance, reconciliation, fund accounting and controlling, trade execution, and reporting. At Genpact, Kunal is responsible for R2R (Record to Report) and reporting and banking in the APAC region. He is skilled in transaction processing, trade execution-coordination, and fund accounting and controlling. Kunal is a person of interest in finance, accounting, and operations, with 1.87 years of relevant experience. Kunal holds a Post Graduation Diploma in Management in Finance and Operations from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. He also has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and a High School Diploma from Titiksha Public School, New Delhi. In his current role, Kunal assists in the reconciliation of multiple banks and its fund services tasks, including accounting and controlling of more than 160 types of funds, custodian and global reconciliations, asset management fees tasks, dishonor/reversal, incoming cheques, EFT, and investment/redemptions. He provides experienced administrative support, ensuring that reconciliations, settlements, and disbursement processing are accurate, within agreed SLA, and compliant. Kunal performs variance analysis on reconciliation discrepancies and daily bank reconciliations and clearing. He identifies open items and prioritizes actions to get to closure to ensure no open items after the closing. Additionally, he assists management with reporting deliverables, transitioning of new processes, and implementation of process improvement ideas to strengthen operational controls and enhance business processes. Kunal has also worked as a Data Analytics Intern at KPMG, where he gained experience in data analytics. He is a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail.
