Kunal Gaikwad is an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with a solid background in information technology and services. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Sinhgad College of Engineering, Pune, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Artificial Intelligence at Sheffield Hallam University. Kunal's expertise lies in Python programming, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Deep Learning, Exploratory Data Analysis, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). He has a strong engineering background and has worked on various projects, including Gesture Detection and Claim Adjudication Process automation, using CV and NLP algorithms on AWS instances. Kunal has worked with Quantiphi as a Machine Learning Engineer, where he was responsible for training models on various claims forms, troubleshooting live production issues, and monitoring pipeline end-to-end. Previously, he worked with Winjit Technologies as a Software Engineer and Developer, building computer vision, OCR, and deep learning solutions, including sentiment analysis and image segmentation modules. Kunal's education history includes a Post-Graduation Diploma in Machine Learning and AI from IIIT Bangalore, and he is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Sheffield Hallam University.
