Kunal Gupta is a highly skilled cyber security professional with over 6 years of experience in the industry. He is presently associated with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as a Consultant in Cybersecurity Advisory, based in Bangalore. Kunal has extensive knowledge of various domains of InfoSec such as Endpoint Security, Vulnerability Assessment, Incident Response, Penetration Testing, SIEM / SOC. He is proficient in working with Cyber Security Solutions Products and has hands-on experience with the Gartner Leading EDR/SIEM products. Kunal has gained exposure to various aspects of cyber security, including computer network attack, computer network defense, computer network reconnaissance, cyber forensics, and cyber intelligence collection and analysis. He is skilled in creating and executing security policies, plans, and procedures for the network and other communication systems. Kunal's current role at PwC involves serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of EDR Technology for defense against advanced level cyber-attacks on the organization. Kunal is also responsible for performing threat hunting from various searches/investigations, Indicators of Compromises (IOCs), log sources, in case of any security event and mitigating threats. Kunal has previously worked as a Senior Security Engineer at Gateway Group of Companies, where he implemented use-cases on EDR tools, performed threat hunting using advanced EDR tools such as Falcon (CrowdStrike), Cylance (Dell), CounterTack (GoSecure), Digital Guardian, Secdo (Palo Alto), and implemented SIEM solutions for the client. He has also worked as a Cyber Security External Consultant for the Government of India, where he supervised Network and Disk Forensics in various Cyber Security Cases and conducted an analysis of security vulnerability on various kinds of devices. Kunal holds a Master's degree in Cyber Security from Madhav Institute of Technology and Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from SRM University.
