Kunal Gupta is an experienced Embedded Software Developer with a strong background in Firmware Development and Embedded C. He has worked for top semiconductor companies such as NXP Semiconductors and STMicroelectronics, and is currently an Embedded Software Engineer at Botlab Dynamics. Kunal has a good understanding of the SDK and programming layers of MCU/SoC, including toolchains, IDE, programmers, HAL, LL, and middleware. Kunal has developed firmware architecture for various sensors and modules to interface with MCU, including the implementation of Ring Buffer, 1wire, and modular codes. He has also done Embedded C programming on AVR 8 bit (Atmega2560/328) and STM8 (STM8s103) using Atmel Studio 7.0, Avrdude, STVD, and STVP. Currently, he is doing Embedded C programming on STM32WB55 and STM32F103. Kunal is also an IoT Developer with experience in ESP8266 interfacing to any MCU via AT commands by the implementation of Ring Buffer. He has implemented a Mesh Network on ESP8266 by client-server model and using the HTTP protocol. Kunal has also made projects using GSM model, BLE, GPS, RF433, Nrf24l01, and IR RECEIVER. Kunal has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering in New Delhi. He is a firm believer in knowledge sharing and has created a YouTube channel called Gettobyte to share his knowledge on Firmware Development and IoT.
