Kunal Kumar is a highly skilled and motivated software engineer with a passion for computer science. He is currently working as a Member of Technical Staff - 2 at VMware, where he is responsible for Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) lifecycle management. With over 4 years of relevant experience, Kunal has a strong background in developing web-based data analysis platforms, using technologies such as Python (Flask, Pandas), RabbitMQ, C/C++, HTML, JavaScript, MongoDB, and MySQL. Kunal is a graduate of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where he earned a Master of Engineering in Software Systems. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. During his studies, Kunal developed a keen interest in algorithms, data structures, competitive programming, blockchain, and web development. Kunal has previously worked as a Software Development Engineer at Micron Technology, where he mentored new hires and developed a web-based data analysis platform for RMA customers. He efficiently processed GBs of data collected from SSDs and integrated APIs that process data in binary, JSON, CSV, and text formats. He also implemented a flow to extract debug data from SSD following PCIe protocol. Kunal has a diverse tech stack that includes Python, C, Pandas, JavaScript, MongoDB, MySQL, RabbitMQ, AWS, Flask, CI/CD, Docker, ML, Jenkins, GCP, and Integration.
