Kunal Kumar is a seasoned Development Team Lead with over 7 years of experience in delivering and developing applications on mobile platforms, particularly on iOS using Objective-C/Swift and various tools/technologies, libraries. He is a follower of standard practices like Agile and Scrum and has experience with architecture patterns like MVC, MVVM, and VIPER. Kunal is also familiar with Android (Java, Kotlin) and enjoys taking on challenges and seeing them through to completion. Kunal's skills and specialties include building applications using SwiftUI, UIKit, REST API's, Core Animation, AutoLayout, Storyboards, and working with Swift and Objective-C. He has experience with XCTest for unit and UI testing, GIT for source code management, and continuous integration and deployment. Currently, Kunal is working as a Development Team Lead at Scotiabank Digital Factory, where he leads a team of developers and oversees the development of mobile applications. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Scotiabank Digital Factory and Achievers, where he created reusable UI components, developed custom intents using Siri Shortcut, and worked on bug fixes and feature delivery. He also led the app modernization task along with the android counterpart and UX designer. Kunal holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Punjabi University, where he graduated in 2014.
