Kunal Manjunath is a highly enthusiastic and solution-oriented Software Engineer with a passion for using technology to solve everyday problems. Currently working as an SDE II at Practo, Kunal has a demonstrated experience in building backend systems and writing business logic for the health and wellness industry. He is an excellent team player and always excited to learn new things. In his current role, Kunal has optimized allocation algorithms to increase consults for a doctor per hour and cut down online consultation costs. He has also mentored and guided interns in understanding the architecture, design patterns, and implementations of codebases in Practo. Additionally, Kunal has rebuilt the patient feedback micro-service from scratch on Java Springboot framework. Kunal's past experience includes working as a Software Engineer and Software Intern at Practo. During his tenure, he built features in collaboration with product management teams to improve transaction conversion rate at Practo. He also optimized SQL queries in the backend and was involved in building features aimed at improving and providing a seamless user experience for subscription-based users. Kunal has also worked on and activated a new patient feedback collection flow aimed at increasing feedback/csat collection from patients. Kunal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Ramaiah Institute of Technology. His tech stack includes Java, Microservices, SQL, PHP, Spring Boot, MySQL, New Relic, AWS, ML, Flask, Docker, Python, Kubernetes, and Infra. With 3.19 years of relevant experience, Kunal is a skilled backend developer and product manager who is always looking for ways to improve and grow.
