Kunal Mohta is a software development engineer at Apple, where he is a part of the Power driver software team working on modem chips. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in 2017. Kunal has a wide range of experience in the software industry, having interned at Samsung, Happiest Minds, and Pyxis One. During his internship at Pyxis One, Kunal built the frontend for a survey builder and visualization service from scratch, using React, Redux, and Typescript. At Samsung, he worked on detecting phone drops and height of drops using accelerometer and gyroscope readings from IMU of phones. He visualized and analyzed profiles of 300+ phone drops and used Java for algorithms hooking into android app and Python for scripting and visualizing data. Kunal is proficient in a variety of tech stacks, including Redux, Javascript, Typescript, Frontend, Python, ReactJS, and Mobile. He has also participated in the Google Summer of Code 2018 as a student developer at Inclusive Design Institute. With 1.78 years of relevant experience, Kunal is a highly skilled and motivated software engineer with a passion for creating innovative solutions. He is a quick learner and has a strong work ethic, making him an asset to any team.
