Kunal Nandanwar is a highly motivated and skilled Robotics and Artificial Intelligence enthusiast with a passion for using technology to solve real-world problems. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Robotics Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and is actively seeking internship opportunities for Summer 2022 in the fields of Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Control Systems. Kunal's interest in Robotics and AI stems from his awareness of the vast potential these fields have in addressing various real-world issues. He firmly believes that the rapid growth of self-driving car technology will lead to a future where accidents on roads will be a thing of the past, saving countless lives. He has had the opportunity to work on Robotics projects for a variety of applications during his past internships in the United States, India, and China. Kunal is willing to try new things, think outside the box, and work hard. He understands the importance of cooperation, manpower management, and teamwork in achieving a good conclusion in any enterprise. Kunal's experiences, along with the rigorous theoretical and practical training he is receiving as a graduate student at WPI, have given him confidence that he will be able to make meaningful and important contributions to the profession that will benefit society. He is currently working as a Graduate Tutor at WPI, where he tutors students for ECE 2311 – Continuous Time Signal & System Analysis and ECE 2312 - Discrete Time Signal & System Analysis. Prior to WPI, Kunal worked as an Engineer II at John Deere and as a Software Development Engineering Intern at Altair. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Kunal's technical skills include Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Software Engineering. He has 1.52 years of relevant work experience and is eager to apply his skills and knowledge to new challenges. Kunal is a dedicated and hardworking individual with a stoic approach to every setback, boldly preparing for the new scenario with a steely determination to triumph.
