Kunal Pal is a self-taught Software Developer with over 7 years of experience in the IT industry. He graduated from Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Mumbai University. He has also analyzed and POC of the UPI module with ICICI bank SDKs for quick UPI payment along with the E-Mandate for recurring bill payments. Additionally, Kunal has added sim binding in the onboarding and checkout flow for minimizing the account takeover via OTP verification. He has also integrated the KYC module to help the rule engine team make better decisions on credit upgrades. Prior to Simpl, Kunal worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Everup, where he integrated the existing cashback flow with new games and created a new reward mechanism that can reward the user in Ethereum and Bitcoins. He also added a cashback coupon system as a reward mechanism for users, which can be used on big merchants such as Amazon and Ikea. Kunal has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Valuefy Solutions Private Limited, where he designed and integrated the payment flow via Razorpay, Billdesk, and other SDKs. Kunal is a well-rounded individual with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Theem College of Engineering. He is proficient in various technologies and has relevant experience of 7.45 years.
