Kunal Parihar is a Senior SDE at Desay SV Automotive in Singapore, where he works as an Autonomous Driving Software Engineer. He is responsible for developing robust and accurate Mapping and Localisation solutions for Autonomous vehicles. Kunal has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from IIT Jammu, where he focused on his passion for software engineering, machine learning, and research. Kunal has 3.19 years of relevant experience in the industry and has worked with several companies in the past. He started his career as a Software Engineer Intern at Oyla, where he developed a Visualization tool for rendering 3D data from ESPROS TOF camera using python qt5. After that, he joined the Singapore University of Technology and Design as a Research Intern, where he worked on Indoor 3D Mapping and Localisation. He also made sTetro, a Staircase Cleaning Robot, fully autonomous by performing tasks such as machine learning model to detect Staircase, detecting bottom-most stair and navigation of sTetro robot. Kunal has a strong technical background and is proficient in several programming languages, including Python. He is also skilled in machine learning and has worked on several projects in this area. Kunal is a Research Scientist at heart and has a passion for exploring new technologies and developing innovative solutions to complex problems.
