Kunal Sindhwani is a seasoned software engineer with over 5 years of experience in writing code and designing distributed systems. He has worked in various industries, including fintech, e-commerce, and digital media. Kunal has a strong affinity for Java and Golang, and he is also proficient in AWS, Dockers, Kafka, RabbitMq, Redis, SQL, NoSql, and other distributed system components. Currently, Kunal works as a mentor at Scaler Academy, where he conducts core technical mock interviews for backend roles and career guidance sessions. In his previous role at Zalora, he worked as a Software Engineer 2, where he mentored new joiners in the team and laid the groundwork for the common process of onboarding a new payment method. Kunal also owned module/services and made independent decisions for their design and infrastructure to make them scalable, maintainable, and robust.
