Kunal Swami is an accomplished AI and Computer Vision professional currently working as a Chief Engineer at Samsung Research India Bangalore. He is also a graduate student pursuing a Master of Technology in Artificial Intelligence at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Kunal's research interests lie at the intersection of Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on applications of Deep Learning in Computer Vision. He has a proven track record of out-of-the-box thinking and research capabilities, having published more than 8 research papers as first author, filed 4 patents, and won two awards at the highly competitive global annual Samsung Best Paper Award contest. Apart from his professional work, Kunal is also a versatile individual with a background in competitive programming, open-source, and web development. He has also contributed to open-source projects on GitHub, including a contribution to the world's best computer vision library OpenCV.
