Kunal Waghmare is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle with over 9 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering. He holds a Master of Technology degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Warangal, where he gained in-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithm design, and memory dump analysis. Kunal is a skilled programmer with expertise in C under a multithreaded environment. He is highly proficient in debugging and reverse engineering techniques, which enable him to understand, maintain, and enhance older/legacy code bases. He also possesses subject expertise in database internals, distributed storage, write-ahead logging/journaling, temperature-based storage, fine granular locking techniques, and deadlock avoidance/detection and correction. Prior to his current role at Oracle, Kunal worked as a Software Engineer at Teradata, where he was a part of the File System Team. He also served as a System Engineer at TCS, where he actively contributed to the integration team, developing, maintaining, and refining the functionality of web applications and web services. Kunal's technical skills and experience extend to software engineering, web development, integration, and senior software engineering.
