Kundan Burnwal is a highly experienced software engineer with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is passionate about practical problem solving. Kundan has a right mix of business and technical skills, which have enabled him to work across multiple domains such as Cloud-based software, accounting, e-commerce, fashion retail, customer care, workflow authoring, platform re-architecture, and legacy to cloud migrations. Kundan has a wealth of experience in Java, Web-Services, AWS, Cloud Computing, MySQL, PHP, and problem-solving. Currently, he is working as a Senior Staff Engineer at ThoughtSpot, where he is leading a team of four engineers to create a highly flexible Content & Catalog management system from scratch. He is responsible for conceptualizing and building the system, which includes photoshoots, content writing, product information management, Rest-based web services to expose catalog information for product pages, and banner management. He has also worked singlehandedly on the Flipkart catalog sharing project. Prior to joining ThoughtSpot, Kundan worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Intuit, where he led various projects such as Product & Pricing Management, Price Increase Project, Quickbooks Desktop Payroll Migration, and Quickbooks Signup Workflow Re-architecture. He was also responsible for AWS migration of legacy applications into Springboot and database migration from Oracle to Aurora MySQL. Kundan has consistently mentored a few engineers every year and has actively been involved in interviewing. Kundan has also worked as a Technical Lead at Myntra, where he was responsible for conceptualizing and building a highly flexible Content & Catalog management system from scratch. He led a team of four engineers to create the system, which included photoshoots, content writing, product information management, Rest-based web services to expose catalog information for product pages, and banner management. Kundan has a Master's degree in Information Technology from IIIT Bangalore and an Engineer's degree in Information & Communication Technology from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute. He completed his 12th board CBSE from Amity International School, Saket, and 9th & 10th board from Delhi Public School, Korba. He completed his primary education from Beacon English Medium Higher Secondary School, Korba. K
