Kuntal has 2.53 years of experience as a Cyber Security Analyst at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical, where he worked with next-gen Firewalls, IDS, SIEM, and more to manage the users and assets of the organization on the cloud and within the perimeter. He also built innovative solutions involving honeypots to collect threat data for analysis and presented the threat landscape before the team, proposing potential mitigation plans. Kuntal's past experience includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Denver, where he built a novel Cryptosystem for IoT devices to communicate with the cloud, a highly robust novel Hash Function, and Cyber-Deception Protocols for database protection and smart-intruder detection. He also participated in CTF competitions and qualified for national inter-collegiate cyber defense competition regionals. Kuntal is skilled in Python, PHP, and Research Scientist, and his tech stack includes Python, test, Research Scientist, and PHP. He maintains compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations while managing and working with private and confidential user data.
