Kurian Benoy is a highly skilled data scientist and software engineer with a passion for working on complex problems in the fields of computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and business analytics. He is an expert in AI, research science, data science, NLP, Keras, computer vision, Python, ML, software engineering, and JavaScript. Kurian has completed his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Govt Model Engineering College, Kochi, and is currently pursuing his Master of Technology in AI & Data Science from Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam. He has also completed a Practical Deep Learning for Coders course from the University of Queensland. Kurian is among the top 1% of users in the Kaggle community, with a ranking among the top 300 positions among more than 70 lakh users from all over the world. He is interested in working on community-driven open-source projects and has contributed to more than half a dozen open source projects, including Keras, DVC, FairLearn, CloudCV, Microsoft, and Swathanthra Malayalam Computing. Currently, Kurian works as an AI Engineer at sentient.io, where he applies his expertise in AI and data science to develop innovative solutions to complex business problems. He has also been a technical speaker at PyCon India 2019 and 2021, where he presented talks on ML Models and Dataset versioning and Demystifying async/await keywords in Python and JavaScript, respectively.
