Kurshit Kukreja is an accomplished Software Development Engineer with over 7 years of experience in designing distributed systems that are scalable and highly available. He is currently working as an SDE2 at Amazon India, where he is part of the Consumer Payments Team. Kurshit is extremely passionate about Java's Lambda and Stream API's and has attained some level of excellency with Linked Lists, Trees, Graphs, Heaps, Recursions, backtracking and Dynamic Programming. Kurshit has hands-on experience with Open Source Message brokers - Apache Kafka and Rabbit MQ. He has a good understanding of Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Stream framework. He has worked on various components on AWS - SQS, AWS Iot Core as Gateway, S3 storage, AWS Lambda's, Cloudwatch, EC2, and on Microsoft Azure - Event Hub, Service Bus, IoT Hub, Redis. Prior to joining Amazon, Kurshit worked as a Senior Software Developer at AppDirect and as a Senior Software Engineer at Siemens Industry Software. At Siemens, he was part of Mindsphere - an open cloud platform that collects and analyses all kinds of sensor data in real-time. Kurshit has majorly worked on Cloud Agnostic Microservices backed by AWS and Microsoft Azure both. He has hands-on experience with Connecting and doing Just-In-Time registration of devices over MQTT protocol using the device certificates - for both AWS IoT Core and Azure IoT Hub. Kurshit has developed Spring Boot-based Micro Services and has exposure to the Spring Cloud Stream Framework. He has also worked on Cloud Agnostic Libraries to send data to various message brokers including Open Source message brokers - Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ - and to AWS SQS, Azure Event Hub, and Azure Service Bus. Kurshit holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from North Maharashtra University.
