With over 21 years of relevant experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Kurt is passionate about building great products that people love using and that help Engineering and Product teams plan, build, and ship great software faster and more collaboratively than they've ever been able to before. Kurt's leadership skills are evident in his previous roles as Co-founder and Organizer of CTO School, where he was responsible for building the best engineering team in NYC. He also served as CTO of Intent Media Inc., where he grew the Intent Media Engineering team from 1 person to over 40 people in the last 5 years. Kurt was responsible for building out a sustainable and responsive product development process to effectively deliver software to support multiple lines of business. He also hired a lot of great people to help him out along the way. Kurt's educational background is in Computer Engineering, having earned his BSE from the University of Michigan in 2001. He is a visionary leader who is always looking for ways to improve processes and deliverables. Kurt is an excellent communicator, able to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their goals. He is also an expert in his field, with a deep understanding of the tech stack and the latest trends in software development.
