Kush Jain is a skilled Data Scientist with a strong background in AI, NLP, and ML. Currently working at Jio AI CoE, he is a key member of the Search, Discovery, and Retail team. In this role, he is responsible for the query intent understanding project for retail search engines. Kush has developed several modular projects that are scalable to different domains, delivering impact across Jio's multiple retail e-commerce businesses. These projects include Indic Transliteration, Query Category Prediction, Named Entity Recognition, and Domain Prediction. Kush has also worked as an AI Intern at Jio, where he focused on search query optimization for AJIO Fashion. He developed a knowledge graph API scalable to multiple e-commerce domains, titled J.A.N.K.I (Just a New Knowledge Graph). Additionally, he completed the Jio Digital Champions Student Learning Program. Kush has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He also completed his HSC from KC College and his IGCSE from Bright Start Fellowship International School.
