Kushagra Agrawal is a highly skilled Machine Learning and Data Science graduate student at the University of California, San Diego. With a solid background in Image Processing, Deep Learning, and Software Development, he has worked with leading tech companies such as NVIDIA, Qualcomm, and Samsung Research. Currently working as a Computer Vision Software Engineer at NVIDIA, Kushagra is involved in developing cutting-edge technologies for computer vision. He has also volunteered with UCSD Engineers for Exploration Research Lab, where he worked on a project related to acoustic species identification. He experimented with different deep learning libraries and networks to effectively classify bird species from audio clips. With over 2.68 years of relevant experience, Kushagra possesses excellent skills in C++, Java, Python (ML and Statistics libraries), Angular JS, and PyTorch. He has implemented complex features including Night(Low Light) Photography, Multi Frame HDR, and Super resolution (Zoom) while working as a Camera Systems Engineer at Qualcomm. He also developed a camera simulator in C++ emulating end-to-end camera features acting as a reference for OEM’s Image Quality Assessment. Kushagra holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communication from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Machine Learning and Data Science from the University of California, San Diego, which is expected to be completed in December 2023. With a strong tech stack that includes Computer Vision, Software Engineer, ML, Research Scientist, Deep Learning, Image Processing, Data Scientist, Pytorch, AngularJS, Python, and Java, Kushagra is an asset to any organization. He is passionate about exploring new technologies and leveraging them to solve complex problems.
