Kushagra Arora is a passionate software developer with a strong focus on designing end-to-end products that make people's lives easier and better. With almost 4 years of relevant experience, Kushagra is currently working as a Member of Technical Staff at MarkovML, where he is responsible for coding and enhancing the consumption model of their product. He has also worked as a Software Engineer II at Microsoft, where he honed his skills in languages like C# and Scala, systems like Spark, Azure Cosmos Db, and used Orleans Grains (Virtual Actor Model) and Azure Service Fabric. Kushagra's coding journey started in college when he was introduced to competitive programming. He fell in love with data structures and algorithms and the beauty of optimal solutions and performant code. He has participated in ACM ICPC regionals and secured Rank 23 in Chennai regionals in 2016, which qualified him for India Finals. He also worked as a machine learning intern in IDfy, where he honed his deep learning concepts and his knowledge of Python and related frameworks like Keras. Kushagra's specialty is his learning mindset and the ability to quickly ramp up on new concepts. He has a stronghold on C# and Scala and has an ever-increasing knowledge of system design and scale optimizations in distributed systems. He is one of the younger mandatory code reviewers for their repo. Kushagra's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Deep Learning, Keras, Scala, Azure, ML, SQL, Spark, Python, Search, Redux, Integration, and Mobile. Apart from coding, Kushagra enjoys sports, both watching and playing. He loves watching India playing a test match early at 5 AM or Barcelona playing their league game at 1:30 AM. Kushagra is always eager to discuss the latest technologies, sports developments, or just to say hi. His mission is to become a software architect designing E2E products that make the lives of people easier and better.
