In his current role at Suzy, Kushal is responsible for leading the engineering team to deliver innovative and high-quality products. He has a strong background in AWS, search, and senior software engineering, which enables him to provide valuable insights and guidance to his team. Before joining Suzy, Kushal worked at Fareportal, where he held various leadership positions. As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, he worked on developing a hotel recommendation engine that used user-based k-nearest algorithm to personalize hotel results. He also worked on product preference using Euclidean distance algorithm to predict which product would be more suitable for users. Kushal also created a prediction model based on user data to predict and change hotel images at run-time using Naïve Bayes algorithm. Kushal's experience in exploratory data analysis, model creation, and creating full pipelines using AWS using S3, Lambda function, and firehose has been invaluable in his career.
