Kushal Singh is an experienced Platform Engineer with a strong background in Java, C++, C, and Python. He is currently working as a Member of Technical Staff at Cohesity, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's platform infrastructure. Kushal has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology. He has over six years of relevant experience in the internet industry, working on various projects that involve software engineering, backend development, and infrastructure management. Prior to joining Cohesity, Kushal worked as a Platform Engineer at Directi, where he was involved in building a back-end system for generating Auto-Templates that are ads optimized based on website appearance. He also worked on deploying the overall service infrastructure utilizing Docker containers and Jenkins while using Selenium along with headless Firefox to extract colors from websites and designing templates/ads based on it. Kushal also worked on clustering websites based on appearance to introduce different templates/ads into the existing system and to improve the performance of the learning algorithms being used. Kushal also worked as a Code-In Mentor for Haiku at Google Code, where he mentored Pre-University students to open source as part of the Google Code-In program.
