Kwok Ren is a passionate full-stack software engineer with a strong desire to make the world a better place. With over 2.78 years of relevant experience, he has worked on various projects ranging from mobile applications to web development. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Revolver Lifestyle, Kwok Ren has developed a mobile application that helps travelers find different events, hotels, and flights generated by AWS Lambda functions. He used React Native to develop the structure of the user interface and collaborated with his team to ensure the best product was created. Kwok Ren's past experience includes being a Software Engineering Fellow at General Assembly, where he completed over 450 hours of professional training in the Software Engineering Immersive program. During this program, he mastered various technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Express, Node.js, MongoDB, Mongoose, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, SQL, PostgreSQL, Python, Django, and Algorithms. He created several projects during this program, including OnTrack, a full CRUD website that allows users to keep track of their daily exercise routines and food tracker, and DeveloperToob, a full CRUD website that allows users to create accounts and watch videos specifically targeting both new and veteran developers. Kwok Ren is also a former teacher at the Chinese Evangel Mission Church, where he organized team-building activities and coordinated events to develop growth within students. He provided positive reinforcement to students to encourage, motivate, or build confidence in them and coordinated with other workers to plan collaborative events to help encourage growth in relationships within the student body. Kwok Ren's education history includes a Certificate of Completion in Software Engineering Immersive from General Assembly, a degree in Computer Software Engineering from LaGuardia Community College, and a degree in Accounting from Baruch College. Kwok Ren's tech stack includes being proficient in Software Engineering, Javascript, Ruby, AWS, SQL, MongoDB, Mobile, Frontend, Backend, Web, and Django. He is always seeking more knowledge and becoming a better version of himself every day.
