Kyle Hodgson is a highly experienced Vice President of Engineering at Odyssey Energy Solutions, with over 25 years of relevant experience in the technology industry. He has a passion for helping people accomplish ambitious goals and solving organizational challenges. Kyle brings a unique combination of vision, experience, and positive energy to his work, whether he is leading teams, writing code, or presenting new concepts. Kyle is particularly excited about working in the climate tech space, which he considers to be one of the most ambitious challenges of our time. He is currently working with some ambitious thinkers in this area, and he looks forward to sharing more about this soon. Prior to joining Odyssey Energy Solutions, Kyle was a Principal Consultant at self-employed, where he provided Fractional CTO consulting services to ambitious companies while working on building climate tech. He also served as Chief Technology Officer at DCR Strategies, Inc., where he led a number of innovative technology projects. Under his leadership, DCR grew from a Canadian-only operation to a powerful payment card player issuing in four currencies, managing programs with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and others on multiple continents. Kyle's tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, and he has a proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex, long-lived vendor relationships and an internal technology department of five. He is a valuable member of any team, and he is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to make a positive impact.
