Kyle Isom is a seasoned Senior Security Engineer with over 16 years of relevant experience in the tech industry. Currently, he works at Google, where he serves as the Tech lead for an Enterprise Infrastructure Protection Off-Google team. Kyle is responsible for leading and driving the threat modeling process for several internal customers across multiple environments, including self-driving cars and drones. He has also developed and standardized the threat modeling process, ensuring that it is efficient and effective. In addition, Kyle has worked with the Technical Program Manager to develop a standard engineering engagement process for internal customers, including scoping and points of contact for out-of-scope work. He has established a program to provide security engineering consulting for partner teams, primarily Alphabets, in the autonomous systems space. Kyle has also engaged with other Alphabet teams to enable full-disk encryption and identity bootstrapping using Trusted Platform Modules. Before joining Google, Kyle worked at Dropbox as a Software Engineer. He worked on enabling Dropbox support for non-traditional files, which included work across the front and backend and the desktop client.
