Laksh Bhatia is a Senior Engineer at Qualcomm with a strong background in designing reliable communication systems for Cyber-Physical Systems, Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics. He is currently a PhD student and Research Assistant with the AESE group at the Department of Computing in Imperial College London. Laksh holds a Master's Degree in Embedded Systems with a Minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from TU Berlin and Aalto University, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani, India. His research at Imperial College London focuses on designing reliable wireless communication systems using Low Power Wide Area Networks, 802.15.4/Zigbee, and BLE. As a Research Assistant, Laksh has collaborated with several industrial partners such as IBM, Tate museums, and NEC to design solutions tailored for their particular use-cases. He has also mentored an Undergraduate research project and a Master's thesis. Laksh has worked on Distributed Cyber-Physical Systems with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles during his Master's thesis at Imperial College London. He has experience working with DJI Matrice 100 and DJI Phantom drones, as well as Openmote nodes and TelosB nodes. With a relevant experience of 0.86 years, Laksh is a skilled Research Scientist and Mobile engineer. His education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from Imperial College London, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Embedded Systems from Aalto University and Technische Universität Berlin, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)
