Lakshay Baweja is a Full Stack developer with over 2 years of relevant experience in the software industry. He is currently working as a Software Backend Engineer at Birdeye, where he is a part of the Messaging team and has worked on a Microservice from scratch. He is proficient in a wide range of technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, NodeJS, MongoDB, MySQL, Kafka, ES, Redis, Firebase, and NiFi. Lakshay is passionate about building and developing complex hybrid applications that make people's lives easier. He is always eager to learn new technologies and enhance his skill set, which makes him productive at work. He has won the SIH2020 competition, which showcases his talent and dedication towards his work. In his previous role as a Software Engineer at Persistent Systems, Lakshay worked on various projects, including 8x8 and an in-house project. He worked as a Backend developer in the 8x8 project, where he added new functionalities to the existing products and debugged the existing flow of APIs using chrome dev tools. In the in-house project, he worked in the Frontend domain and created interactive and reusable UI components using Material UI and NextJS. He also integrated backend REST APIs with the frontend using Axios HTTP library and wrote unit test cases for each UI component using Jest enzyme. Lakshay holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from The Northcap University. He completed his schooling from Manav Rachna International School, where he studied Science.
